Washing

Warm/cool gentle machine wash or dry-clean. Dry flat in shade in spring, summer or autumn if possible. Regular turning and airing recommended. Any spills or stains should be removed as soon as possible, paying careful attention to the direction of the design, and care instructions for cotton fabrics.

Storage

Our calico bag and acid-free tissue paper has been supplied to store your quilt. Calico (unwashed) serves this purpose well. Store in a cool, dry place. Herbs that assist in repelling moths include eucalyptus, lavender and peppermint. Place in the centre of a hankerchief or put in a small muslin bag within the calico bag. Essential oil can also be used, but avoid direct contact with your quilt.
