I picked up the quilt as you would be aware and I love it. You did a terrific job in explaining to Granya what I wanted and Granya did a great job in making it as I am sure it was quite challenging. It looks lovely on our bed and it's a perfect size. We have been using it the last couple of nights and I am glad that it's not only a show piece but practical as well. I was also glad that my daughter was here to see it so I could tell her about it as well as her seeing it. I think a memory quilt is a wonderful idea. Rachael and her team were able to transform my impractical heirloom tablecloth, which had lived in my linen cupboard, into a beautiful doona cover which I get to enjoy everyday! After meeting Rachel at a local fair it was agreed that if I brought back material from an overseas trip she would have it made into a quilt for me.
